05/04/2023 - Kerry Co-op appoints Jim Woulfe as Advisor
The Board of Kerry Co-op confirms the appointment of Jim Woulfe, the former CEO of Dairygold Co-op, to work as an adviser with the Board. Jim will work with the Board to examine the structure of Kerry Co-Op as it develops its strategy.
Jim has served the Irish dairy industry for over 40 years, in various senior management roles, including the 12 years to end 2021 as Dairygold’s Chief Executive. Jim is currently a board member of Enterprise Ireland, Bord Bia, Mercy University Hospital and Fota Wildlife Park. He has also held board advisory positions with Cork Airport and the National Competitiveness & Productivity Council.
This years Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday the 5th of July 2023, it will be held in the Kerry Sports Academy in Tralee Co. Kerry
Thomas Hunter McGowan has retired from his position of Company Secretary and CEO for Kerry Co-Operative Creameries. Mr McGowan took on the roll of Company Secretary in October of 2017 and CEO in 2019. Mr McGowan said that it has been a privilege to lead the CO-op for over five years.
Following the news of the departure of Mr McGowan, Ms Lorraine Mulvihill has been appointed to the position of Acting Company Secretary For Kerry Co-Operative Creameries.
Mr Thomas Hunter McGowan Company Secretary and CEO for Kerry Co-operative Creameries has informed the board this week that he is retiring from both positions next year.
